Located in the rolling countryside at the foot of Exmoor, Drewstone Farm Cottages offers a real countryside break in the peaceful rural surroundings. The three cottages are set around the farm and each one benefits from its own private area and unique outlook over the surrounding area. There are both private and communal areas to enjoy and the added bonus of a play area for older children. Internally the cottages are well furnished and presented.
Drewstone Farm is a working sheep farm. Lambing in the spring is a great time to visit to see the new additions arriving on the farm. As well as being easy to get to, the cottages are well located to explore this stunning part of Devon.
The local market town of South Molton is located close by and has a useful range of shops and amenities. There is also a weekly market which makes for a good morning out. The North Devon Coast and Exmoor have plenty to offer visitors. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path and many places to visit to make a memorable holiday. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the National Trusts Watersmeet Gorge, valley of the rocks and the funicular cliff railway are well worth a visit. Up on Exmoor, there are various walks to suit all abilities as well as highlights such as Tarr Steps, Landacre Bridge and the village of Withypool. There is also fishing, golf, and cycling all available, or further afield the resorts of Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are well worth a visit. For some of the best beaches in the country visit Woolacombe and Saunton. There are great attractions for young families at The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, both located towards Bideford. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 2 miles.
