Longleat Safari and Adventure Park
Get ready to experience a drive through like no other! Make sure the doors are locked and the windows are up as you slowly drive around the park getting up close with the animals. Along the way you will drive through Tiger Territory, Lion Country, Cheetah Kingdom, the Big Game Park, Wolf Wood and not forgetting Monkey Mayhem! You will get to see Anne the Elephant who was rescued from a circus and is now relaxing in her retirement home. If you want to stretch your legs, you are free to get out of your car when you come to the African Village where you can take a walk along the viewing platform to see the giraffes and zebras.
There’s plenty more to see in the Main Square. Jump on a Jungle Cruise and glide along with the sea lions as you take a relaxing cruise around the lake, passing the mighty gorillas on the way. Head over to Penguin Island to see the Humboldt penguins playing around and then see the cheeky meerkets over in Jungle Kingdom.
Once you have seen the animals the Adventure Castle awaits – a medieval playground with areas designed to suit different ages. In the summer months, kids can cool down on the splash pad which has water jets just waiting to get them wet.
Under 5’s will love the Little Explorers Garden which boats four immersive zones each based on a furry friend you might just find in your garden.
If you need time to relax after all of that excitement, jump on board the Longleat Railway and take the 1 ¼ mile journey round the parks woodland seeing what animals you can spot along the way.
Finish your day with a look round Longleat House, this stunning Elizabethan House has 15 rooms to explore and countless works of art on display.
