Wydale Heights is a wonderful family holiday home and is a great place for those who love the great outdoors, with fantastic walks right from the doorstep. Set in the countryside with lovely open views across the farmland, Wyedale Heights is in a very rural area yet just a few minutes’ drive to all amenities.

The cottage is detached and on a quiet lane in the beautiful countryside of North Yorkshire. The wonderful views to the front of the property can be enjoyed through the large picture frame windows giving panoramic views of the fields and the wildlife.

The cottage is very spacious and homely and has all the mod cons required for an enjoyable stay. The icing on the cake is the Swedish sauna where you can relax after a day spent enjoying the wonderful countryside. The large garden has a children’s playground area and a terraced area where the adults can enjoy the views and the wildlife while sipping a glass of wine.

There are so many attractions just a short drive from the property. The Dalby Forest makes for an adventurous day out with its World Cup mountain bike trails. Here, there are acres of forest with challenging runs for the daring, or more leisurely runs for those who just want a bike ride through the forest. The Dalby Forest is also home to the “Go Ape" Adventure Park set high up in the trees, have a go on the zip wires or the trapeze.

The seaside resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby are just a short drive away. Scarborough is the nearest and boasts two large beaches and a promenade over 3 miles long, linking its two bays. Here you can have a go at lots of watersports or enjoy a donkey ride on the beach. Scarborough also has lots of bars, restaurants and a couple of theatres.

Yorkshire is famous for its market towns and quaint dry stone walled villages with the inevitable duck pond and village green. Thornton-le-Dale has been voted one of the prettiest villages in Britain and is only 15 minutes from the property.

The medieval city of York can be reached in an hour by car and offers an abundance of museums, theatres, and art galleries. If you prefer to go by train there is a direct train from Seamer or Scarborough. Beach 10¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
